Rand Construction Completes New Hi-Tech Facility in Livingston County
Rand Construction recently completed a new facility for Smart Label Solutions (SLS) in Howell Township, MI. SLS is a process engineering and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions company, focused on automating and optimizing supply chains. The 24,400 square foot contemporary facility consists of office, manufacturing, and warehouse functions. The building is designed around the Butler building system and its industry-leading, pre-engineered steel, roof, and wall systems. Rand Construction is gratified to have completed a new facility for such an innovative and fast-growing company.
Rand Construction Heads to the UP for Landmark Project
Rand Construction recently broke ground on a new Biological Station for the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (GLFC) in Marquette, MI. The scope of the project is 44,175 square feet comprised of two structures used for office, shop, and storage functions. The GLFC is a bi-national commission made up of representatives from the US and Canada. The GLFC coordinates fisheries research, controls the invasive sea lamprey, and facilitates cooperative fishery management among the state, provincial, tribal, and federal agencies. Rand Construction is honored to be associated with such a well-respected organization.
GLFC Gets New Western Michigan Home
Rand Construction recently completed a multi-building project in Ludington, MI for the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (GLFC). The scope of the project is 27,200 square feet comprised of three structures used for office, shop, and warehouse functions. The project was the first of several new biological stations to be completed by Rand Construction on behalf of the GLFC which is a bi-national commission made up of representatives from the US and Canada. Rand Construction is proud to be associated with such a well-respected organization.
New Pittsfield Township Development Finishes Strong
Rand Construction recently completed construction of a new 18,000 square foot development in Pittsfield Township, MI for Oak Valley Lot 14, LLC. The building is an aesthetic combination of brick, banded glass, and exterior sunshade elements. Following building shell completion, the building was fully leased with tenant improvements constructed for two local Ann Arbor tenants: Nostrum Energy and Dynamic Edge, Inc. Rand Construction is honored to be the design/builder for this successful real estate development.
New Washtenaw County Development Ready for Tenants
Rand Construction recently completed a new 25,000 square foot investment for Oak Valley Lot 10, LLC. The building is designed for maximum flexibility to accommodate one or multiple tenants. The building can also accommodate multiple uses ranging from office to flex-space tenants. The building is a contemporary design consisting of an aesthetic combination of multi-colored brick, and banded glass. k-Space Continues to Grow in Washtenaw County
For the third time, Rand Construction was selected by k-Space Associates (KSA) to construct a new company facility in Dexter, MI. KSA is a leading manufacturer of in-line, in situ, and ex situ metrology tools for the semiconductor, thin-film, photovoltaic (PV), solar, automotive, glass, and building materials industries. KSA tools and custom metrology solutions are in research and production facilities around the world. The new facility will contain research, manufacturing and warehouse operations. Rand Construction is thrilled to be working again with such a valued repeat customer as KSA.
C3 Industries Expands Retail Foothold in Ann Arbor
Rand Construction recently completed a new retail facility for C3 Industries at 617 Packard Street in Ann Arbor, MI. The flagship “High Profile” boutique provisioning center carries a selection of cannabis products including flower, edibles, vaporizers, concentrates, topicals, and tinctures from C3’s cultivation and manufacturing facility in Webberville, MI, as well as from third-party vendors. The location is licensed for both recreational and medical sales. C3 Industries is a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company that produces high-end cannabis products with strong brand recognition. Rand Construction enjoyed partnering with C3 Industries on their expanding retail footprint.
Rand Construction Upgrades Lexus of Lansing Dealership
Rand Construction was recently awarded the design-build contract to renovate the Lexus dealership in Lansing, MI. The renovation project is part of the national Lexus corporate brand imaging program. Upgrades include construction of two tower elements and a renovated facade clad with contemporary composite metal panels, in addition to adding decorative stone elements to the building exterior. Rand Construction is excited to again work with this multi-repeat customer on this important project.
D & K Truck CO. Rolls Along with New Lansing Area Expansion
Rand Construction recently broke ground on an expansion project for D & K Truck Co. The project, located in Delta Township, includes expansion of the corporate offices and mezzanine space. The company is a full-service Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu truck dealership. The company has operated successfully in the heavy and medium duty truck industry since 1948. Rand Construction is delighted to be working with this well-known dealership on another construction project.
